Whilst it is a statutory requirement of all businesses to comply with relevant health and safety legislation, in many cases our experience shows they these statutory responsibilities are not always adequately discharged. This is partly due to the huge volume of health and safety legislation but also to the difficulties encountered when dealing with complex and varied processes in the work place.
As an organisation we are committed to offering our clients guidance and solutions where a need is identified. We work with our clients to ensure as far as reasonably practicable that health and safety matters are complied with.
The Syndicate therefore has developed systems to identify the health and safety requirements of its client base. We do this through the interaction we have with our clients when investigating and settling claims on their behalf. If during this process it becomes apparent that there are areas of concern, then we will set in motion a risk management programme. Once this has been initiated we will expect a positive response to any suggestions we make and periodically check with them on any progress made.
Our aim in partnership with our clients is to make the workplace a safer place and to prevent the adverse costs associated with accidents at work. Our experience shows that the direct costs of these accidents are just the tip of iceberg and the real cost to an organisation can be much more when all the natural consequences of accidents are considered.
Whilst we offer this service as an integral part of the 2525 product those clients who require a more comprehensive overhaul of their health and safety systems can take advantage of our enhanced risk management programme.
This enhanced service is carried out over a minimum of a 24-month period and details of the product can be reviewed in the following document 24 Month Policy/Health & Safety Partnership
All our surveys and risk management work are done in partnership with Sovereign Risk Solutions who have worked closely with us over the last few years to develop our risk management programmes.
